Life with the Lowthers |
|
| Updated December 2011 I'm 14 and live in a family of six. We went abroad for the first time this year. In spring went to Fleurie in France ( just north of Lyon and south of Macon) we had a great time. A friend of ours has been teaching us French so we got by pretty well. Toby got very excited about the different looking electricity pylons. The food was lovely as was the weather. We went again in September, this time to La Tranche in the Vendee.
I have been doing a T15 windsurfing course and enjoying it lots. We're still doing watersports once a month. Me, Toby and Kirsten are still ride once a week and now Elsa and mum are having half hour lessons every other week. Home education is still going well for me. I'm starting to get ready for GCSEs. Sally's very excited by the council's scheme to fund home-ed children. (Visit our Home Education page here) We went to the festival of history again this year which is always good fun.
We also did a lot of camping in the summer.
